Isreal & the Palestinian Territories
Israel was one of the first fields to which the Alliance sent missionaries. In the more than 100 years since, political, economic, and religious lines have changed often and drastically.
Today, The Alliance works closely with independent Hebrew Messianic assemblies, primarily in the Negev region to the south. Over the past decade there has been a large influx of Russian Jews; many of whom have now heard for the first time about Jesus, the Messiah.
Our field workers also partner with Alliance Arab churches in Jerusalem and the West Bank. Additionally, we also do a significant amount of relief work among the Palestinians caught up in this storied region’s political upheavals.
Several Chinese congregations associated with The Alliance are in the region; several other international groups rent an Alliance church facility in Jerusalem.
This region’s four organized churches and four unorganized groups are comprised of 500 inclusive members. (These statistics reflect the fruits of our Arabic and Chinese ministries.) All-Hebrew ministries are carried out in partnership with nondenominational Messianic assemblies that include two organized churches and five unorganized groups.
No organized national church: 4 organized churches, 4 unorganized groups, 4 ordained ministers, 250 baptized members, and 500 inclusive members. These statistics reflect the fruits of Arabic and Chinese ministries only. All-Hebrew ministries are carried out in partnership with nondenominational Messianic assemblies (2 organized churches and 5 unorganized groups).
Establish a discipling center to facilitate a new approach for following up with scattered and isolated believers in the West Bank.

Assist NOWBARP, the relief and outreach team working in the West Bank.

During this Thanksgiving season God’s people have much for which to be grateful.
The dove hovered over the Word of Grace group, even while there were other groups in the water for baptism at the same time. This left such an impression upon the new believers that many of them openly wept through the whole event.”

Following World War II, the British withdrew from their mandate of Palestine, and the UN partitioned the area into Arab and Jewish states, an arrangement rejected by the Arabs.
